CM distributes certificates to open school students

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today gave away certificates to students who cleared examination from National Institute of Open Schooling(NIOS).

In all, nine students received certificates for passing third, fifth and eighth standard from open school, a statement here said.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister wished the students a bright future while commending the role of Child and Women Development Department for imparting education to those children who were out of schooling system.

These students have passed level A, B and C under the NIOS and will now be joining formal schooling, it said. Delhi's Health Minister Kiran Walia was also present on this occasion.
