The Madras University has invited applications for admission to the following programmes in collaboration with International Universities:

1. M.Sc., Sustainability and Natural Resource Management - (Joint Award with Staffordshire University, UK)
2. M.Sc., International Environmental Management - (with University of Northampton, UK)

Candidates with an honours degree from an officially recognised Institution of Higher Education in a related subject such as geography, politics, environmental studies/ science, environmental management, ecology, agriculture, law, sociology or development can apply for the course (1) above. Candidates with degrees (or equivalent) in other subjects will also be considered as well as those individuals who have related employment or substantial voluntary experience, with a demonstrable interest in or a commitment to sustainable development issues. A post-graduate diploma recognised as being equivalent to an honours degree or accredited professional or vocational experience in natural resource related areas of practice will also be considered.

Candidates with Honors/Bachelor degree from a recognized Institution of Higher Education/University can apply for the course (2) above. Preference will be given to the relevant professional experience. A recognized environmental science discipline such as physical geography, biology, environmental chemistry, geology, engineering or a related area and degree in other social science subjects including law will also be considered.
