he district administration has issued strict instructions to managements of schools not to harass students saying stringent action would be taken against school officials who violated the government guidelines regarding this.
Education department officials said that many of the outstation students studying in public schools had sought transfer certificates after the police registered a case against a correspondent of a public school in Dindigul for allegedly sexually harassing a Bhutanese girl.
The government has decided to act tough against the authorities of such schools where students complained about sexual harassment, official sources said.
