The collaboration between Globsyn Business School and Coventry University is an institutional tie- up. The course that will be offered is Masters in Business Management or MBM, which is an accredited program for one year. The tie- up will help to enhance the quality of research which is an essential part of training business managers. MBM is approved by the British Universities’ Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). The focus will be on the additional skills that a student of Business Management requires so that he is able to evaluate, to critique and to learn to be an independent researcher. Students at Globsyn Business School will get an opportunity to work together with international students over the internet. The course fee is approximately Rs 4.95 lakh.
Thus a student from Kolkata can get quality global education at Indian price. Students will have to sit for CAT or any similar public competitive examination or they can also sit for the Globsyn entrance examination. Work experience is not mandatory to apply for the programme. Discussions about giving scholarships to students are still going on. There will be rewards for students based on their performance.
