BE applications from May 6

Chennai: Engineering counseling applications will be issued from May 6, according to Anna Varsity vice-chancellor Prof P Mannar Jawahar.

In 58 centres, including banks, the applications would be distributed 'We are ready with 1.5 lakh application forms and forms can be downloaded from Anna University website also', Mannar Jawahar said.

The fee for the application form is fixed as Rs 500 for general category and usual concession for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students.

The results for the Plus 2 examinations are expected around May 8 or 9 and before that  Anna University plans to distribute application forms from May 6.
