Bhubaneswar: Withstanding the recession crisis the Xavier Institute of Management fetched 100 per cent placements this year.
The graduates in Post Graduate Diploma in Management of Xavier Institute of Management, in its XIMB's annual campus recruitment programme Xuberance 2009,
54 companies participated.
The highest salary offered was Rs 16 lakh per year. The average salary was Rs 7.3 lakh per year. There were 33 pre-placement offers and interviews.
Recruiters this year included Godrej, Tata Group HR, Coca Cola, Cognizant Technologies, Deloitte Consulting, Ernst and Young, Hewlett Packard, TCS, Societe Generale, Axis Bank, SBI, SBI Caps, Tata Steel, IMRB, Cavin Kare, Bank of Baroda. IDBI Bank. SEBI, Indian Oil Corporation, Genpact, Vodafone, Idea, Tata Teleservices, ICI Paints, HSBC Global , Kalinga Soft and others.
Most students opted for jobs in finance.
