TASMAC-IGNOU collaboration

IGNOU and TASMAC have entered into collaboration where TASMAC students enrolling for the Global Programme in Business Leadership leading to the MBA degree from the University of Wales will now receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Leadership from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

This is great news for TASMAC students – they can now get dual awards:
>> A Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Leadership from IGNOU; and
>> MBA from the University of Wales, UK

The Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Leadership is an accelerated and an intensive programme of one year’s duration thus giving a head start to the students in their career as they can start working ahead of their peers.

This also enables working professionals to take a one-year sabbatical and equip themselves with a management degree. Working professionals also have an option of pursuing their diploma in the part – time mode within a period of 18 months to 24 months. The Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Leadership will be offered in the full-time and the part-time mode of study at TASMAC campuses in Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Prof Rajasekharan Pillai, Vice-Chancellor, IGNOU said about the partnership with TASMAC, “This programme is designed and developed with top leaders in business management and eminent academics. This is an illustrative example of Universities and corporate sector collaboration.”

Dr Giri Dua, Chairman and Managing Director, TASMAC stated, “It is a great opportunity for students in India to receive two qualifications, one recognised in India and the other that is internationally recognised, and that too at fees much lower than what they would pay for an international qualification.” He added, “TASMAC’s London campus is the London centre of IGNOU and we are pleased to have entered into a relationship with IGNOU for offering programmes on our campuses in India too.”
