Jamia Millia to conduct UGC-NET exam in Delhi

The University Grants Commission National Eligibility test (UGC-NET) will be conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia University here Sunday.

UGC-NET exams are conducted for the appointment of teachers in colleges and universities across the nation. Junior Research Fellowships are also awarded to students through this exam.

According to Jamia officials, nearly 24,000 candidates will be taking the exam at 42 examination centers.

"The list of the candidates along with the center information has been uploaded on the website of the university. Students who do not receive their admit cards by Thursday can check the website to know the details of their examination centers," the official said.

The exams are conducted by 66 universities all over the country.
