The 14th Pacific-Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (PAKDD 2010) will be held at Hyderabad from June 21 to 24.
The event will see researchers and industry practitioners sharing their ideas, original research results and practical development experiences from areas as: data mining, data warehousing, machine learning, databases, statistics, knowledge acquisition and automatic scientific discovery, data visualisation, causal induction and knowledge-based systems.
The conference will include original investigation results and industrial papers on real data mining applications and system development experience. The workshops will cover a number of areas including data mining for healthcare management, intelligence and security informatics, feature selection in data mining, emerging research trends in vehicle health management, behaviour informatics, data mining and knowledge discovery for e-governance and knowledge discovery for rural systems.
