New Delhi: All students studying in different universities in Delhi including Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU), Jamia Milia Islami (JMI), Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D), IP University have been asked to vote in the parliamentary elections.
The campaign 'My vote, My voice' has been launched by the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU).
All colleges, academic departments, hostels and other institutions will be visited by DUSU members to create awareness about elections.
"Posters and feedback handouts will be distributed among students to create awareness," said Vikas Dahiya, former DUSU president.
"We will submit a memorandum to the concerned authorities in favour of students who come here from different states but cannot vote in elections," added Dahiya.
