Chennai: The UK-based Anglia Ruskin University, an institute of repute for its health and social care programmes, would conduct a free seminar on study and job opportunities in UK for professionals in health and social care services here on May 23.
The event is being organised by its strategic Indian partner Institute of Management Training and Placement (IMTP), a premier consulting organization in South India.
Mr Andrew Kirk, International Marketing Officer and Simon Wood, International Liason Officer of Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, would address the participants on the topic `Health Care Industry in UK' covering areas of Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmaceuticals and Health Care Management.
Aimed at creating awareness on the range of courses available in health and social care fields and make one employable anywhere across Europe, the programme would benefit those in health care services.
The seminar would be held in two batches -- forenoon and afternoon, an IMTP press release said yesterday.
As a part of the programme, the University would also offer spot admissions for courses in B.Sc.(Hons)/M.Sc. International Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons)/M.Sc. Public Health, M.Sc. Physiotherapy, and M.Sc. Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care.
Candidates with first class in relevant degrees as basic qualification would be eligible for PG courses. All the PG courses would be of one year duration and would cost around 8,000 UK Pounds (Rs six lakhs).
