Nalsar announces PG Diploma courses

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad based-National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) University of Law has announced admission for Post Graduate Diploma Courses in various subjects from the current academic year.

The varsity would offer one-year PG Diploma in Patents Law, Cyber Laws, Media Laws and International Humanitarian Laws.

University Coordinator, Prof V C Vivekanandan, said in a release here yesterday, ''There is an urgent need for capacity building in Intellectual Property Human Resources to meet the challenges.

''Nalsar was the first university which started offering a Patents Law course designed for the industry and research needs and the course on International Humanitarian Law caters to candidates in Central Asia, South Asia and Asia Pacific Regions and also Cyber Law and Media Law courses were designed to the needs of technologists and Journalists,'' he added.

The deadline for submission of application was June 15 this year.
