Bhopal: A two-day workshop on television journalism, organised by news agency United News of India's (UNI) television service UNI-TV and Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication, will begin here today.
Stringers of UNI working in districts of Madhya Pradesh and electronic media students of the Makhanlal University will take part in the workshop. University's Vice-Chancellor B K Kuthiyala will inaugurate the workshop. UNI Chief Editor and General Manager A K Bhandari will be the chief guest. UNICEF Communications Officer Anil Gulati will also be present on the occasion.
News service provider in English, Hindi and Urdu, UNI is foraying into electronic media. Recently, UNI TV had hosted tele-conferencing of Russian Prime Minister Vladmir Putin with business personalities during the former's visit to India.
