New Delhi : The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) will be administering Advanced Placement (AP) tests beginning May to provide students with a better chance to study in the United States.
''To study in the US, a student needs to earn 120 credits in four years for a graduation degree. After clearing the tests, the credits they will earn will be applicable for the same,'' a foundation spokesperson said. The tests will be available in Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Computer Science, English language and composition, French, Physics B and Statistics.
The students who are pursuing either XI or XII are eligible for the tests. They will get an opportunity to gain knowledge and distinguish themselves in the college admissions process, she said. All interested students are required to register at the USIEF office by March 25 and registeration would be on first come, first served basis.
