Medical job fair 'Catch-2009'

Chennai: 'Catch-2009' a job fair oragnised by Dr MGR Medical University on its university premises in Guindy on May 23 and 24  for medical graduates and postgraduates .

The job fair comprises over 100 stalls set up by colleges, hospitals, institutions and pharmaceutical companies that will provide credible and categorical information to the medical professionals.

'The medical profession is still lucrative, but people only tend to think about doctors and dentists. Paramedics, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists and Indian medicine practitioners are also in demand' says Dr Meer Mustafa Hussain, vicechancellor of the university

Numerous foreign embassies and consulates, including the British and Australian high commisionerates and US and Hungarian consulates, will provide information about opportunities in abroad.
