EMRI signs MoU with Osmania University

Hyderabad: EMRI signed an MoU with Osmania Varsity to grant 2 year Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Care.

Speaking on the occasion CEO - Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) Venkat Changavalli said, 'The two year diploma is aimed to build people expertise in our country in emergency care. Currently, we are offering this course in Hyderabad, we hope to open up centres in other states.'

EMRI's Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Care will now be a part of the five PG Diploma Courses that come under the aegis of Osmania University Hub, creating employment opportunities in hospitals and companies of India and abroad.

The MoU was signed by Prof Y C Venudhar, Registrar and Secretary, Executive Council, OU and Dr G V Ramana Rao, Executive Partner, Emergency Medicine Learning and Care-EMRI, in the presence of Prof T Tirupati Rao, Vice Chancellor, Osmania University and Venkat Changavalli, CEO-EMRI.

The couse curriculum for the two year Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Care has been designed and developed jointly by EMRI and inputs from Stanford University School of Medicine.
