Kolkata: The IIM-C placement process kicked off on Saturday. “On the second day of placements, HUL, P&G, Nokia, Johnson & Johnson and ITC were among the leading global brands that made IIM-C their preferred campus. HUL and P&G made four offers each, excluding preplacement offers. HUL and Nokia together account for the largest number of offers across all IIMs,” said a press release by the institute.
An official said that Tata Administrative Service (TAS) has made seven offers, which was the highest on Day 2. American Express, the biggest recruiter among finance firms, made six offers. Accenture’s 11 offers account for the highest number made by Ibanks and consulting firms put together.
“It is back to the golden days. Though we were the third campus to go for placements, there were many first-time recruiters who participated in our placement process. For the first time, Escorts has recruited two students from the campus. Aviva was also a first-timer,” said Prafulla Agnihotri, chairperson of the IIM-C placement committee.
