Mumbai: At least 816 students of city-based secondary schools will be felicitated at three different venues in the city on February 27 for successfully qualifying the 'Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha' (Cultural Education Test).
Mohan Salekar, member of Sanskriti Samavardhan Prathishthan, which had conducted the test last month, said in a release here today that these students have been selected from 1.07 lakh students from 516 schools, who had appeared for the test.
The organisation will distribute 272 medals each in Gold, Silver and Bronze categories. The prizes would be distributed in three different location that western zone at Borivali, Eastern at Ghatkopar and South at Matunga.
He said the tests were conducted in Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati and English. These tests had been held since 2003, when about 117 schools associated and 13,049 students had participated in the first test, he added
