Chennai:To compete with economic melt down MU offers Job-oriented courses

Job-oriented courses in Postgraduate diploma courses in Remote Infrastructure Management and Enterprise Computing and a diploma programme in Airhostess and Aviation Hospital

Institute of Distance Education (IDE) in partnership with the Maples ESM Technologies Limited and the Marina School of Aviation,offers the courses  said , vice chancellor S Ramachandran

According to IDE director G Mohanram, this was the first time in the country that a university was offering a course in Remote Infrastructure Management.

'Even the NASSCOM has predicted that more than 3.75 lakh job opportunities will be created in the next four years for specialists in Remote Infrastructure Management and IBM Mainframe,' N Ram, managing director Maples ESM Technologies Limited claimed. Students will be given 200 hours of training including lab manuals.
