Chandigarh: As part of the ongoing reforms in the education system, the Haryana Elementary Education Department has decided not to declare any student fail in the final examination of fifth class.
Stating this here today, Haryana Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal said that instructions had also been issued to all District Education Officers to set up examination centres for fifth class in only those schools where students had been studying so that they might not have to go to other schools to take examination.
She said the other instructions in this regard included conduct of annual examination in the supervision of Headmaster of the middle school, high school and Principal of Government Senior Secondary School.
The teachers of primary schools would be deputed as supervisors at the examination centres. She said that instead of conducting examination for moral education, as was the case during last year, there would be grades to be prepared by the concerned teacher. This gradation would have five point scale of A, B, C, D and E.
