Introduction to management

Ocumen 2010, a platform for Class XI and Class XII students to get a first-hand feel of management, was organised by IIM-Lucknow recently.

From 125 schools all over India, 19 schools from Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Meerut, Kanpur and Agra were selected based on a case-study solution, a press release issued by the institution said.

The event provided an introductory snapshot of management to young students through a variety of games and competitions and offered an opportunity for the participating students and teachers to obtain a feel for finance, HR and other fields associated with management.
