Chennai: Harayana-based leading education service provider O P Jindal Global University today announced that it would setup two more schools in its 54 acre campus by 2013.
"We are going to establish Jindal School of Government and Public Policies and Jindal School of International Affairs in 2012 and 2013 respectively in our campus in Haryana", University Vice Chancellor C Raj Kumar told reporters here.
He said that MBA programme of Jindal Global Business School, a newly constructed school, would begin this August. "The selection process for MBA course will begin from this May and about 120 students would be selected", he added.
Stating that the objective of MBA programme was to train student to take up junior and middle level management roles, he said an important aspect of the programme will be to focus on emerging needs of the industry.
He said that the evaluation of students would be quantitative and objective with the involment of reputed independent assessment centres. "The final shorlist will then be made on the basis of a personal intervbiew and scores of CAT/GMAT and assessment testes", he said.
