Ranchi: It’s official now. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi will soon become a reality. Classes are scheduled to begin from June-July this year.
This will be the first institute among the six new IIMs announced by the Union HRD ministry in 2006 to begin classes.
After initial hiccups over land and infrastructural developments in the state, a formal announcement was made in this regard by the newly appointed chairman of the board of directors, R C Bhargava, who is also the chairman of the Maruti Udyog Pvt Ltd, on Friday.
