Seminar on physical sciences

The postgraduate department of Physics of D.G. Vaishnav college, Chennai, will be organising a national seminar on Physical Sciences for postgraduate and M.Phil. students on February 25 and 26.

The technical seminar, organised in association with the Indian Spectrophysics Association, will have participants presenting research papers in fields such as crystal growth, nanotechnology, spectroscopy, materials science, medical physics and nuclear physics.

A press release issued by the convenor said that all participants will receive a certificate, and cash prizes will be awarded for the best three papers presented in each category (oral and poster).
