It's time for students to battle it out at Kurukshetra, the annual techno-management festival organised by the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University Chennai,
Besides an attempt at creating a world record in building the largest Origami structure in the world, workshops and guest lectures and quizzes have been lined up.
Guest lectures by eminent persons from the world of science and technology, video conferences featuring Bjarne Stroustrup, the man behind C++, Ian Foster, father of the grid, and Rolf Landua from CERN have been planned.
Kurukshetra also features sessions with veteran technicians of the film industry. Another interesting feature this year is the K! Conclave that brings big names from the industry together for a brainstorming session on the topic ‘Envisaging India - Towards the dream of a brighter tomorrow'.
The Madras Science and Technology exhibition and the laser show planned promise more excitement. Kurukshetra will be held from January 20 to 23.
