Kolkata: IEEE Kharagpur Section, IIT Kharagpur Student Branch will inaugurate IEEE TechSym - annual Students' Technology Symposium from April 3-4, 2010 at IIT Kharagpur, India.
"IEEE TechSym 2010 is an effort to bring together students and young engineers across the continents on a common platform; to create opportunities for collaboration to conceiveand execute ideas; and to encourage participation of Women in Engineering," said Subhamoy Mandal, chair, IEEE-EMB Student Club
The organizers have identified four broad areas of focus for the symposium as: Technology in Healthcare, Technology in Education, Human-Computer Interaction and Women in Engineering. The Symposium will hold four technical tracks on these domains where students and young engineers will present novel developments taking place.
It is expected that over 200 delegates, primarily students involved in research activities and young professionals in the industry, will. The global transmission and web-based media coverage of this event will make the audience truly global.
