Saint-Gobain Glass has announced the winners of Transparence 2009, a design competition for the students of architecture and interior design.
Rutuja Prabhudesai, Chaitanya and Supriya Krishnan of Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai secured the first position, while Avakash Kumar, Kamal Kant Mudaliar and Anutosh Kanoria of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur stood second.
The third position was secured jointly by Ramakrishnan S. and Balachandar B. of School of Architecture & Planning, Chennai and Syed Vasif Nawaz, Sharahwat and Siddharth Mahadevan of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
The winning team was awarded a prize money of Rs.75,000 while the first runner-up bagged Rs.50,000 and the second runner-up, Rs.25,000.
The competition was held in two stages on the theme ‘Ecotel,' an eco-friendly green hotel building.
