Centres to enhance employability skills

Kolkata: Centum Learning Limited, a Bharti associate, is further expanding its footprints in India by setting up learning centres and mini campuses to enhance employability skills of youth in the country.
 
Currently there are 126 Centum Learning Centers across the country which is projected to go upto 500 in the next five years.
 
At present Centum Learning centers are present in across 86 cities enrolling close to 8000 students. The Company will also see the number of students growing to 2, 00,000 in the projected year.
 
Besides, the organisation plans to add a range of industry oriented programmes in the coming year to meet the requirements of the sunrise sectors.
 
Sanjeev Duggal, CEO and executive director, Centum Learning Limited, said, “As an organisation, delivery of up to date knowledge and skills has always been important to us.\ The average fee for an undergraduate course is Rs 30,000 whereas for a post graduate course the fee is Rs 50,000.
 
Appreciating the need for incorporating academic rigour and developing programmes based on industry requirements, Centum Learning has also set up an academic council comprising luminaries from both academic and the corporate world.
 
They have taken on an advisory role in framing academic policies, exploring strategic alliances; introducing new programmes to ensure that such industry  academia tie up indeed result in enhancing employability in the country.
