Special programme for X class students to improve results

Rajahmundry: The East Godavari District collector Gopalakrishna Diwadi has directed officials of the education department to implement a 100 day programme to improve the results of students from the tenth class.

The collector who held a meeting with the officials of education department said there have been too many holidays which made it difficult for teachers to complete the syllabus.

The collector also advised officials to conduct special classes for tenth class students in Maths, Science and English. He said the 100 day programme has been envisaged to complete the syllabus.

Besides a separate 40 day programme will be conducted for students of tenth class in the tribal areas.
