TOEFL Scholar programme launched in India

New Delhi: Educational Testing Service (ETS) has announced the launch of its TOEFL Scholar Programme in India.

The programme is designed to recognize outstanding students who will begin their postgraduate studies in the U.K., U.S. or Canada in 2010.

"It will honour students with high academic achievement who have demonstrated leadership skills, innovative ideas and an outstanding ability to communicate in English", an official from ETS told NNE.

A total of 7 scholarships totaling $50,000 will be awarded to 7 students.
