The Convenor of CLAT -2010, National Law Institute University, Bhopal, has announced the conduct of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), to be held on May 9, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon across the country for admission to the undergraduate (BA LLB, B.Sc., LLB, BCom., LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) programmes conducted at the following eleven universities in India.

National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi
NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
National Law Institute University, Bhopal.
West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata
National Law University, Jodhpur
Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur
Gujarat National Law University, Gandhi Nagar.
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law Unviersity, Lucknow
Rajiv Gandhi National Law University, Punjab.
Chankya National Law University, Patna.
Eligibility: Those who have passed Plus two /equivalent examination with not less than 50 per cent marks in aggregate in any subject and those appearing for the qualifying examination in March/ April 2010 are eligible to apply for admission to undergraduate programmes. Applicants' age should not exceed 20 years, relaxable by 2 years for SC/ ST and PH, as on 1st July 2010. For admission to LLM programmes, the applicant should have obtained LLB / BL/ equivalent degree with 55 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognised university.
How to apply
CLAT 2010 notification will be published in national dailies in the first week of January. The prescribed application form will be distributed from January 11 onwards.
