Online certificate course in leadership and democracy for women

New Delhi: You need not have to be at the mercy of others when it comes to learning leadership and the basics of democracy. In a unique attempt to make education more accessible to women, Centre for Social Research in collaboration with Central Government and UN agencies have launched an online certificate programme in leadership and democracy. The programme is only for women.

According to the reports, the willing students can easily get access to this new course through womenleadership.in. The best part about the course is that, it comes free of cost. Moreover, the course provides all the fundamental details about political participation, gender politics and leadership.

The organizers are of the opinion that the online course is primarily aimed at bridging the information gap among women and empower them to take up the responsibility of becoming future leaders.

Union Minister for Women and Child Development Renuka Chowdhury today did the honour of launching the course. She asserted that the course on democracy and leadership will act as an impetus to help willing women to join politics and nurture their leadership skills.
