Kolkata: CAT examinations on its sixth day was conducted without much trouble. Most students could take the test smoothly. There were minor technical glitches with screen temporarily going blank and some students had to be shifted from one computer to another. However, none had to return home disappointed.
'This was the first time when the examination has gone online. We were aware that there might be some hurdles. This happens every time a new system is introduced. After the test is completed, we will analyse what exactly went wrong and then take a decision,' said Indian Institute of Management Calcutta director Shekhar Chaudhuri. He, however, refused to comment if the IIMs are planning to form a committee to probe the CAT fiasco.
