Mumbai: The Indian Economic Development and Research Association (IEDRA) conferred Lina Ashar, Chairperson of Kangaroo Kids Education Limited, with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award for Educational Excellence’ at the National Seminar and Awards function on ‘National Economic Growth and World Peace’, in Delhi. Lina was felicitated for her pivotal contribution and pioneering role in redefining the K12 segment.
Joginder Singh, ex-Director CBI, Krishnamoorty, Ex-Election Commissioner, and OP Verma, Ex-Justice-Supreme Court graced the occasion to present the award to Lina Ashar.
On the occasion Lina Ashar said, “We are absolutely delighted at receiving this award. This award has a special meaning to me and my team as this kind of recognition only reinforces our resolve to work harder. We wish to break the boundaries that restrict a lot of children from getting a full and fair education."
This recognition is another feather in her cap. Recently, Education World magazine recognised her as one of the top leaders redefining Indian education. This award is a testimony to Lina Ashar’s vision to develop every child holistically, prepare them to adapt to changing circumstances and empower them to deal with life’s challenges in a mature and persevering manner.
