IIM-Shillong Golf from Dec 5

Guwahati: IIM-Shillong, the youngest of the seven IIMs in the country, will be organising its flagship annual event — the IIMShillong Golf Cup from December 5 to 6. In the second edition of this meet, IIM Shillong's golf society will conduct a preliminary golf workshop titled 'Green Jacket' for students from premier Indian B-schools.

The tournament has got good response from corporate houses and premier business schools. Companies participating in the meet include ONGC, Vodafone, PWC, GE and the Apeejay group, while golfers from IIMs, ISB, MDI and NITIE will fill in the business school slot. The tournament will be sponsored by the Times Group, ONGC, Goodricke, the Apeejay group and the Meghalaya tourism department.
