Kolkata: Veta, a spoken English training academy and a brand owned by Amoha Education (P) Ltd has been awarded as the 'International franchisee of the year 2009' by the Franchising & Licensing Association (FLA) in Singapore.
The FLA Awards is being held for the fifth time, and is a highly respected award among the local franchises in Singapore.
Veta made a foray into Singapore in the beginning of the year 2008 and to receive this award in one year’s time is a great achievement. The Award provides a platform to showcase successful franchise concepts, thus facilitating further development of franchise companies in both domestic and international markets.
This award also recognizes the performance of the franchisees and acknowledges the efforts made by each of these businesses in reaching out to their audiences.
Speaking on the occasion Ganesh Ram, managing director, Veta said: 'We are delighted at being awarded this prestigious recognition in a very short time of one year of our presence in Singapore. At times of economic recession franchising allows companies to grow their business without having to compromise on the quality of business and helps reach our target audiences.'
