Young men's joined IAF: 465

A handful of 465 young men joined the IAF as Airmen, After a passing-out parade at the Indian Air Force Station Air Commodore K.N. Kumar, Command Technical Training Officer, Headquarter Training Command, reviewed the parade, addressed the young Airmen and also gave trophies to outstanding Airmen in various trades.
 
The best all rounder trophy awarded to Vijay Krishnan of Mechanical Training Institute and D.K.Joshi of Workshop Training Institute. A total of 27 trainees were directly awarded leading aircraftsman grading by their outstanding performance during the 36 weeks of military training. R.R. Singh and Pawan Kumar were presented best all rounder trophies for Automobile Technician-09 and Automobile Fitter-09 courses respectively.
