IIM Bangalore and Visakhapatnam has announced Summer internship Placement (SIP) programme.
Prime objective of this Summer Internship Placement Programme is to impart professional personality and to bridge gap between the theoretical knowledge and practical world of business.
"Many organizations use the SIP as an opportunity for an in-depth assessment of our students and often extend Pre-placement Offers (PPOs) to their summer interns. Every year approximately 150 PPOs are made to the interning students in a variety of roles such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Sales & Marketing, Product Management and Supply Chain Management," said Sapna Agarwal, Head of Career Development Services, IIM Bangalore.
IIM Bangalore provides the SIP for the Post-Graduate Programme Management in its first year curriculum.
When and where the Summer Internship Placement Programme will begin?
Summer Internship programme will begin on November 7 2016 at the IIM Bangalore.

Selected aspirants would be offered two-month by the respective firms.

Around 407 students from the Post-Graduate Programme of the batch 2016-18 from IIM Bangalore will take part in the

Duration of Summer Internship Placement Programme : Two months - April to May 2017.
