Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) extended Engineering Services Examination (ESE) preliminary exam 2017 registration date on the official website, the link for which is upsc.nic.in
Aspirants can now fill up the form up to Thursday, November 3, 2016 till 6 pm.
The preliminary UPSC Exam will be held on January 8.
Here's how to register for UPSC Exam 2017:
In order to register for the examination, all the aspirants need to follow the steps mentioned below:
Aspirants are required to apply through the website, upsconline.nic.in
The applicants are advised to submit only single application only
Applicants, who are submitting multiple applications, should note that only the applications with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the commission
While filling in his/her application form, the aspirants should carefully decide about his/her choice for the centre and engineering discipline for the examination
Aspirants are not required to submit the hard copy/print out of their application to the commission at this stage
Before submitting the application, aspirants are advised to cross check all the information.
Eligibility criteria for UPSC Exam 2017 :
Aspirants need to obtain a Bachelor degree in any engineering discipline from a recognised university/institute.
Application fee for UPSC Exam 2017:
Aspirants need to pay Rs 200 only
UPSC examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:
Stage-I: Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of aspirants for the Stage-II: Engineering Services (Mains/Stage-II) Examination
Stage-II: Engineering Services (Mains/Stage-II) Examination (Conventional Type Papers)
Stage-III: Personality Test
The examination is conducted to fill up 440 vacancies in different engineering disciplines.
