Viswa Bharati University Admission 2016 : Viswa Bharati University invites application for Admission 2016

Visva Bharati University, Shantiniketan has released an admission notification, inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates to apply for its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), Integrated Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Integrated Master of Philosophy (MPhil) programmes offered in Geography for the academic year 2016 to 2017.

International applicants seeking admission to the MPhil/PhD/integrated MPhil-PhD programmes shall be exempted from admission test.

Eligibility criteria for Viswa Bharati University Admission 2016 :

Educational qualification for Viswa Bharati University Admission 2016 :

The aspirants interested in applying for this programme must possess a Master's degree, with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or B plus grade, in the concerned subjects preceded by a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised university/institute.

The aspirants are also required to fulfill any one of the following conditions:

Qualified any of the following examinations: UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC- CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship

M Phil degree of Visva-Bharati or any other university recogniSed by the UGC that also follows the UGC, regulation 2016 and regulations of Visva-Bharati

Selection procedure for Viswa Bharati University Admission 2016:

The aspirants will be selected on the basis of an entrance test/interview conducted by the university.

How to apply for Viswa Bharati University Admission 2016:

The aspirants are required to download the application form from the official website. They will then have to send the completed form along with other relevant enclosures to the office of the concerned department/bhavana/vibhaga (institute) personally or by post.

The last date for submission of application form is August 30.
