PROJEKT, Film and photography society at LSR :

The society holds exhibitions, photo walks and organizes guest lectures for its members
Pinhole Photography Society, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College:

"We believe in being more than just a photography society. Aisa nahi hai ki aao, click karo aur chale jao. We're all like family to each other now; we are with each other through each others' problems," says Tanveer Oberoi, the president of the society

They also have annual and mid semester exhibitions

"Our main aim is to unite all the photo societies in DU. For this reason, we do not even hold any auditions or have a selection process. Anyone who has an interest in photography can be a part of the society," says Aastha Rana, the president, DUP
The society is open to all students of the university and not just one particular college
This society does not participate in any exhibitions and programs like other college societies
Iris Photography courses of Gargi College:

"There is also have a proper timeline that we follow at the society. We begin with basic photography sessions where we cover the general topics in the first month and then progress to advanced photography in the second month, where we start conducting photo walks. Then we progress to themed indoor photo shoots," says Vidisha Khaitan, the convener of Iris
The society organises photo walks, online competitions and photo exhibitions
The society also presents a photography, film and fine arts exhibition in collaboration with the fine arts and film society of the college
Photographic Society of St. Stephen's College of Delhi University:

The society boasts of members who have made a name for themselves in the field of photography, such as Chandan Gomes, the youngest recipient of India Habitat Centre Fellowship for Photography, and Aditya Arya, a leading Indian photographer known for his work 'India Photo Archive Foundation'.

Apart from St. Stephen's society for photography courses, 'Cliks Society' of DCAC is one of the best ones for students inclined towards photography in the university.
