SUIIT Admission 2016 : Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Sambalpur invites applications for its MCA Programme

sambalSambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Sambalpur invites applications for its Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme for the commencing academic session 2016 to 2017. The duration of the course will be three years.

The programme is designed with the aim to develop core competence in computer science and applications.

Eligibility criteria for SUIIT Admission 2016

Educational qualification for SUIIT Admission 2016:

The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have done B.Sc (Honours) in computer science, mathematics, physics, electronics, statistics or information technology with an aggregate of 50 per cent.

Or

B.Sc (pass) with an aggregate of 50 per cent, having one of the following subjects as core- computer science, mathematics, physics, electronics, statistics or information technology and specially mathematics at Class 12 level.

Or

BCA with 50 per cent aggregate and mathematics at Class 12 level, while computer science, mathematics, physics, electronics, statistics or information technology subjects as core.

Selection procedure for SUIIT Admission 2016

The selection for 50 per cent of seats will be done on the basis of OJEE/Equivalent rank and an entrance exam will be conducted for the rest of 50 per cent. The overall test shares a weightage of a written test, 50 per cent; career, 30 per cent and viva 20 per cent. 

How to apply for SUIIT Admission 2016

The candidates are required to fill in the online application form and send the print out of the same along with other relevant enclosures to the 'Director, Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Jyoti Vihar, Burla, Odisha - 768019'.

Important dates for SUIIT Admission 2016

The last date for the submission of an online application form is June 18.

The last date of receiving an application form in hard copy is June 18.

Entrance exam will be conducted on June 25.
