nitmanipur The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Manipur has invited applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its full time and part time Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme in civil engineering, computer science & engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering for the commencing academic session August, 2016.

The Institute admits M.Tech students under the following categories:

Sponsored (full time)
Part time

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification for NIT Manipur:

The candidates interested in applying for this programme must be holding at least 60 per cent marks (6.5 CGPA) in (last qualifying degree examination), relaxation of 5 per cent marks/ 0.5 CGPA is applicable for SC/ST candidates.

Selection procedure:

The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of a written examination and an interview conducted by the institute. If called for the written test/interview, the candidate will have to produce the originals as well as attested copies of all the documents relating to educational qualifications (from Class 10 onwards).

The candidates are required to apply at the official website, www.nitmanipur.ac.in.

Important dates:

The registrations will start from June 1.

The last date to apply online is July 1.

The names of the short listed candidates will be announced on July 15.
