Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results will be announced on on May 17,2016.

tamilnadu Government of Tamil Nadu, Directorate of Government examinations will be declaring the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results on May 17,2016.

The announcement by the directorate regarding the class 12 results has been made on the official website.

Once the results are declared, students who appeared in the written examination can check their scores on the official website.

The following are the steps the candidates should take to check their class 12 results:

Log on to the official website, the link for which is http://www.studyguideindia.com/Exam-Results/hsc-exam-results-tamilnadu.asp
Click on the live link 'HSC Results March 2016'
In the new window that opens, enter the required details such as your roll number in the space provided and submit
The result would appear on the screen.
All the candidates are advised to take a printout of the result for future reference.
This year, the HSC examinations were conducted successfully by the directorate.

The written examination for class 12 was held from March 4 to April 1, 2016.

SSLC Public examination
OSLC Public examination
Anglo-Indian school leaving certificate examination
Matriculation examination
Higher Secondary examination (General education and vocational courses)
Diploma in teacher education examination (1 and 2)
ESLC examination for private candidates among others.
