The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore has invited applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme offered at VIT School of Planning and Architecture for the commencing academic session 2016. The duration of the course will be of five years.

Educational qualification:
The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have studied in regular, full time and formal education in order to apply. They must be holding 70 percent marks as an overall aggregate of Class 12 or equivalent with mathematics as one of the subjects during Class 12.
They should have a valid NATA score obtained in NATA conducted by the council of architecture.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time.

A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and NATA test. The candidates who will be short-listed on the basis of their merit will be called for the counsellin.
