According to an official notification, the will be declaring Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) the Class 10 Board results on May 24 (tentative). The students can also check their results at the India Today website (www.indiatoday.intoday.in/education).
The candidates can check their results by following these steps:
Go to http://www.studyguideindia.com/Exam-Results/goa.asp
Click on the tab 'EDUCATION'
Click on the tab 'Check your results here-Results'
Select 'Goa SSC (Class 10) Board Results 2016'
Enter your roll number.
On submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen. The candidates must take a printout for future reference.
This year, a total of 20,000 students appeared for the Class 10 exam.
About the board:
The board was established on May 27, 1975 under 'The Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act, 1975'. It subsequently began the process of conducting examinations for Class 10 and Class 12.
tHE GBSHSE has the power to control, manage, and directs school education in Goa. Its primary function is to plan academic programmes and organise examinations, especially for state level High School Certificate (HSC or Class 10) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC or Class 12).
