IIT Indian Institute of Technology , Madras announced the exam date for Humanities & Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE)

iitm Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has released the exam date for Humanities & Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) 2016. The exam is scheduled to be held on April 17 and the results for the same will be released on May 11.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras exam is conducted for taking admissions to integrated Master of Arts (M.A) in Development Studies and integrated M.A in English studies programmes for the session 2016.

Educational qualification for Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras :
The candidates should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board or institute.

Paper pattern:
The exam will be held for a duration of three hours.

Part 1 consists of objective type multiple choice questions based on the following topics:
English and Comprehension Skill;

Analytical and Quantitative Ability;

General Studies covering the areas of Indian Economics (since Independence),

Indian Society, Contemporary World Affairs (post-World War II);

Environment and Ecology

Part 2 requires the candidate to write an essay on general topic involving description, or/and reflection or/and discussion.
