The results of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) conducted by Uttar Pradesh government will be declared today i.e. March 29.
In order to check the results, the candidates are advised to visit the official website, the link for which is http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in. Thereafter, click on the link, 'UPTET Results'. The candidates should enter the necessary details. After submitting the same, the results will get displayed on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference.
The UPTET exam was conducted on February 2 at 1,128 centres.
Over 9 lakh students appeared in this eligibility test. The annual UPTET qualifies candidates to teach primary (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (Classes 6 to 8) in any government school and in participating in privately operated schools in Uttar Pradesh.
Aspirants can attempt paper 1 to teach primary classes, paper 2 to teach upper primary classes or for both to be able to teach primary and upper primary. The UPTET certification is valid for a period of five years, however interested candidates can reappear anytime.
