The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates to apply for its full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme

NITThe National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates to apply for its full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme offered in Department of Management Studies for the commencing academic session .

The duration of the programme will be of two years.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification for Hamirpur NIT:

The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have secured a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with first division.

Selection procedure

Selection will be made on the basis of application rating, performance in CMAT for domestic students and the candidate's performance in the group discussion and personal interview round. Post qualification work experience in industrial organizations of repute will also be given due consideration.

The institute follows government of India norms regarding eligibility and reservation of seats for qualified scheduled caste/tribe candidates.

The National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur is one of the twenty NITs of the country, established in 1986 as Regional Engineering College, a joint and cooperative enterprise of the Govt. of India and Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. The campus is situated at Anu in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh and is four kilometres from the main bus stand of Hamirpur on the Hamirpur Toni Devi road.
