Exam date for Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) has been announced by the Anna University Centre for Distance Education

The exam date for Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) has been announced by the Anna University Centre for Distance Education (CDE), Chennai. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 21 and is held for taking admission to distance Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme offered in the following disciplines:
General Management
Technology Management
Financial Services Management
Marketing Management
Operations Management
Health Services Management
Human Resource Management
Hospitality Services Management
Distance Master of Computer Application (MCA) programmes
The hall tickets for the examination have also been released and the registered candidates can download the same from the official website.

Eligibility criteria for DEET

Educational qualification for DEET:

MBA programme: Interested candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

MCA programme: Interested candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Candidates should have studied Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or Mathematics at HSC level.

Exam centres for DEET:

The test will be conducted in the following cities:

Chennai
Coimbatore
Madurai
Nagerciol
Trichy
Villupuram
Paper pattern

The question paper will consist of total 100 objectives type questions. The duration of the exam will be of two hours. Each question will have four alternative answers.

MBA programme: Questions will be asked from the following areas:

Data Analysis

Comprehension Skill

Basic Quantitative Ability

Written English

MCA programme: Questions will be asked from the following areas:

Quantitative Ability

Analytical Reasoning

Logical Reasoning

Computer Awareness

Verbal Activity, Basic Science, etc
